Over the years I’ve been grateful to receive a lot of good feedback for my writing – unfortunately I neglected to keep a record of them.
After a brief search of the internet, here is a selection of positive comments I’ve received.
Excellent piece. Really well written and researched.
As a Leeds fan there’s not much I disagree with above and we don’t have any real derby match which is certainly a shame.

Jason, that was excellent! And if I might be allowed to support your article with another Albert Camus quote:
‘It is the job of thinking people, not to be on the side of the executioners’.

Brilliant article from Jason.
Brings a lump to the throat.
Truly brilliant article, rings true in so many ways. Brought a tear to my eye reading it.
Jason, as ever, another good thoughful article which sums up the mood as we look forward to tomorrow and the end of the ‘home’ season knowing full well in a few weeks time we’ll be wishing that the next season had already started.
Jason, I know that I’m repeating what other people have said, but once again thank you for another thought provoking article. The time and effort that you must have put into your articles over the season is amazing. Your wife must be very understanding.
Well done Jason for another thought-provoking article which is proven by the number of comments you’ve received from readers.

As always, an article constructed by Jason with lots of thought; which unfortunately, doesn’t always happen with those supporting the team in claret and amber at Valley Parade.

Jason, I just wanted to say that this is a top article and hits the right spot in so many areas – outlining both the positives and the concerns City fans have right now.

One of the best articles I have ever read on this website. If Martin Samuel or Patrick Barclay had written this, they would be preparing to receive their football writing awards. Excellent. Print out 12,000 and give one to every supporter against Lincoln on Monday and maybe they will realise just exactly where we are…

For my money – you can’t knock Jason McKowen’s (sorry – I’ve spelt that totally wrong but I can’t get on the site to check the spelling!) articles – normally very well written in my opinion.

There is no Biased report here then, might be a better report if a neutral wrote this drivel. Port Vale beat you on your own turf, get over it!!!

A fine article if ever I saw one.
I read the comments on the official message board every now and again, and each time it staggers me how some ‘fans’ can be so critical, and yet clearly so unbelievably and inexcusably defficient in their understanding of the game and of the way football works.
That’s why BfB is so good – proper fans writing sensible articles. It’s a rare day when I disagree with what is written on here, and even then it’s generally a difference of opinion, not a full-on, what-are-you-talking-about, did-you-SEE-the-game, do-you-actually-call-yourself-a-fan kind of disbelief, as it generally is with the official board

Fantastic article on BFB about the “proposed move”. Very well written and even handed if you ask me.
